Hey all~

just got back my O's results a few days ago...

magnificent... 6 points, 10 distinctions.. seriously, i was like.. OMG! couldnt believe it!! its like sooooo amazing... some subjects was kinda expected... like i walked out of the hall 'believing' that my HCL could score an A1... it actually happened... so i was like... tha fark..

just feel kinda sad that some of my classmates can't get 6 points cos their english screwed them up.... seriously, alot got A2 or even B3... its wasted :( many people with potential to get A1s slip down... esp those who worked soooo hard.. some people blame other factors... but well.... Things do happen...

now that i scored 6 points, its kinda wasted to go to some schools... unfortunately, the nearest school to me, MJ had to be cut..

after considering for days and days... i finally submitted, HCJC or HCI, whichever its called...
i shall not regret on the actions i had done.. cant believe i regretted taking pure hist, elect geog last time, when i was rewarded with double A1s now... maybe things would have been different if my heart wavered... oh well.... 10 years down the road, i better be saying that 'good that i had chosen this path for it shaped me to the guy i am.'

we never know about the future, nor the other side of the road we chose not to take.... we shall see, in the near future.... 3 life-changing decisions, school, subject, cca... argh!

And i enbarked on my book reading.. and i almost lost hope.. Roald Dahl..

apparently china rush i knew who the winner was.. but its still interesting to watch it..

and it seems like

6 teams for amazing race, 6 teams for china rush, 10 individuals for survivor.. everyweek (everyday for china rush) when i watch one episode.. its kinda of sad to see one leaving after another..
to think that one period of time, i was thinking that those teams were all perfect for amazing race... ahh... and survivor... its just unexpected... but still, seeing one leaving after another.. just cant believe that it started with 20 ppl..

anywayy... today is 13nov... exactly 366 days ago... or rather 365 days and 12 hours ago.. we were all boarding a bus to pasir ris to go for 2-3 chalet... ahh.. missed that time... i still can rmb that i am in the same class with some of the jerks.. but, whatever..
totally missed the times we had in 2-3...
3-1.. its just different.. no fun.. and bleh.. whatever....

MR is totally screwed up....

everything fall under my expectations..

after chinese i was like.. wah... so easy ah.. can get A1 liao.. 22.5 no problem..
so with the 'i can get 23' mentality... i received my paper..

13... fark.... nice.. i failed chinese...

then amaths.. i was like full marks.. then didnt hear my name... then 29.. also didnt hear... 27.. wts...

then emaths.. tot i can get 26. then got 25... still demoralised.. this really puts my maths to very low... 81/82... thats the kind of score i got during JT period... or not even that low.... for 2 years i didnt get any shit lower than 85... this is definitely demoralising..

04/07: Independence day... A.K.A. 300th blog post day...

today is independence day.. america's national day...

drama today is from 3.30 to 6.30.. nicely speaking... its 3 hrs... but... counting extension.. counting travel time..

but... at least it makes me know something... the cast are trying damn hard for everything,..,.

16/06: Crew work like Slack Off

today crew nth much.... slack for 1 hr before we can get the backstage open.. then still didnt do alot... have to sort out everything tmr.. tmr might need to do some painting or whatever...

yeahh... its just like that...

drama is damn boring...

esp when... THE CAST ARE ALSO THERE.. and the senior is training them! so yeah.. he kpkp at me lor... AGAIN... ALWAYS... ok but i dont really care...

ok... gonna talk about the survivor i watched just now... quite interesting... not bad....ok picture this.... 9 people.... 8 people all agreed on voting out this guy called dave..... when he lost the immunity challenge... they all talk on whatever getting him out... then one guy, John, went to Russell.. say.. get rid of Mick.. and he realised that Russell had hidden immunity idol, even before john is able to find it... and russell is like... 'oh i made a mistake'... soooo.... russell went to mick saying that john is strong.. we have to get ridd of john.. and russell went to influence everyone... end up... at tribal's 7 out of 9 voted john out... except for john not even knowing that he is out, voted for mick... and shambo still thinking that everyone will vote for dave... nice...
russell is able to change everyone's point of view to eliminating john instead of dave in such little time... amazing...

and when i checked something on survivor.. i am quite shocked...

20 ppl... 10 galu... 10 foa foa... galu pwnage.. won 3 immunity challenge in a row.. plus one foa foa is eliminated due to injury.. and whittle down the foa foa numbers down to 6... then galu's leader injured and they lost one challnge... but that doesnt stop them from winning other immunity challenge.. so when they reached the mix... out of the 12 people... 4 is from foa foa... 8 is from galu....

then the foa foa people work together to get the ass off the galu people... so at the top 6... theres... 4 foa foa... 2 galu... (btw, one of the galu members were standing on foafoa's side..).. and since one of the galu guy keep winning individual immunity (like how pravati did).. they have to kick off their people.. until the top 4.. with 3 foa foa and 1 galu.. and eventually he lost... so 4 foa foa in 12 spots.. and 3 taking all 3 final spots... nice...

soo... yeahh.....

u need to be smart.... like heroes vs villians... the top 4 are all villians... nasty....

ok... why am i actually talking about survivor... its just a 50min show.. with a 10min reward.. 10min imminuty... 10min tribal's... 20min talking to one another and interviews...

07/06: Xi An Trip Part 8

finally i am at part 8 of the octology [hopefully]

so yeahh... i will talk about shanghai now...

went to airport in the morning... pick up a couple of those in xian..

followed a few guys to kfc... they went to eat.. but i dont wan... so i went to toilet...

when i come back... I GOT LOST.. seriously.. what the hell.. when i come back.. they finished their food already... nice one... the kind zuisiang left a couple of pop corn chicken for me... sweet~ then went back... it took me around 20min to find my way i guess...

went back... made our way to expo...

then form group...

my group consist of..

me, jekkee, jian ming, zuisiang, ethan, zhengqian, jiaxuan, lucas, matthew and nic nova. teacher taking our group is yulin~
she chose the group with all the good-looking boys... lets see.. theres me... and... (ok i am being egoistic.)

went to theme pavillion...

when we walk past like 2 pavillion... one says water.. [which i didnt see].. and another says gold..
i told yulin... this might be the.. 5 elements.. gold, wood, water, fire, earth..
yulin is like 'rubbish...'... then i was correct... hohoho.. she sayz i am clever! wheee.. this is like quite basic lor... seee gold.. should more or less know liao...

then we went to burger king... the nice part is... someone went inside and asked which pavillion is it...

06/06: Xi An Trip Part 7

seriously hope that it will end as a octalogy... i dont wish to drag into a whatever logy... polylogy.. or decalogy.. whatever~

i think i missed out a few parts here and there...

on day 7, we went to watch a qing qiang show.. its like opera.. but its their 'XiAn' accent...

quite fun la... i spend my time looking for translations error.. but dont seem to find alot... cher han spent his time sleeping... more or less expected....

lets move on.. Day 9...

then da yan ta... its just a normal tower... nth special..

then museum... scanned turu very fast...

then went to airport...

theres a huge cock up..

we initially plan to fly at 7.. but since something happen... we booked the flight at 5.. then its already too late to board... then the one at 7 does not have enough space to put all of us in... so have to split.. .and it took them so long to arrange... dammit... the first flight (with me inside) start checking in at 6.50.. (boarding time 7).. so we chiong turu.. and stuffs like that.. bla bla bla... flight a little delayed... 2nd plane fly at 8.. which is like 30min after ours due to the delay.. 3rd is 9.. then dexter and 3 other ppl unable to check in in time.. so they have to wait for the next day....

when we reach.. zuisiang have headache.. dunno by whatever logic.. sleeping when plane is coming down will cause it... whatever~.. i just gave him my panadol.. apparently everyone is asking me for panadol as if mines like some magic pill.. cos i think theirs is different... so went on the bus. gave zuisiang brain jolt.. smo maths.. one big mugger...

then went to hotel... when jekkee and i receive.. room 103.. i was laughing...

haha.. first floor... suanning everyone.. but.. when i walk to the room area... first room i saw... room 135.. oh god dammit... ROOM 103 IS AT THE FAR END... ok then we walk... all the way there... drab journey..

went into the room.. not bad.. except for the fact that there's no main light... not bad...

wow.. part 6 already...
i think i am writing a 8 part story... octology..

so yeah... day 7, 4th and last day at school...

i.. forgot what we did... oh i rmb..

we had some chinese cultural shit...

3hrs... was talking with jian ming cherhan and lucas for THE WHOLE THING.. theres once where mdm ee comes and knock my head, ONLY MINE and the thing is i sat in the middle... so whats the reason for her hitting only me.. biased i guess...

then lunch...

went back for their music lesson.. had a few ppl to go there and sing.. lalala~ of course i didnt go.. i dont want to disgrace the school~
matthew zheng qian ivan sing many many times... lucas went to play piano for once...

they did very well i should say... the are IMBA...

so yeahh... thats all....

so the school part has ended...

i think we still went to beilin... to look at carvings..

nth much.. so jump pass...

oh.. i just realised that i forgot a part ytd... before we went kara-OK..

its jiaxuan's birthday ytd.. so have a cake at resturant..

smeared jiaxuan's face with cream.. the tour guide isnt spared either...

day 8.. went to huashan... this is the first time i went out bringing my gameboy... played a bit.. jekkee played alot... ate lunch... and took cable car up... quite fun... then at top.. took photos and went down... took bus back... did i mention that the bus journey is 3h.. so to and fro took 6hrs... slept a while in my to tourney
play daidi with ppl... at first 4 man.. then 5 man.. with chi shein, khiang leon, qingyan. zhewei, and me... 4 matches... this is my rank.. 1, 1, 4, 1.. not bad eh?
actually its because of my hands...first match my smallest card is 7.. so pwn them.. next match the 3 smallest cards i have is 3 6 8. and i gave 3 and 6 to chishein in exchange for A and K i think... sweep again...
but 3rd match.. a revolution started and i have to backstab zhewei to struggle myself to 4th...
4th match.. i got crap cards but zhewei started revolution~ and i have 2 of the biggest cards.. so i win~~~ yay..

ok better chiong turu now.. i mean who uses 6-7 parts to talk about a 10 day journey...

now now... day 6, wednesday..

now... more maths... seriously... seriously.. WTF... its bloddy sian...

learn factorisation again... then learn with everyone... which means ppl from china class.. and those not taking smo maths...
and... we seriously got pwned by those china ppl...

*shows qn* *we all stunned* teacher: '(in chinese) who knows how to answer' *a couple of china students raise their hands* *we were still stunned at the qn..*

their explanation are all very good one lor.. not like my crap... they are just too zai... then after that.. china students left.. the other non-smo group left... if i am not wrong... WE CONTINUED ON SURDS... oh btw... thats the last maths lesson... and...

WE ONLY LEARNT FACTORISATIONS AND SURDS!

lemme move on... went for lunch... before that.. zuisiang want me to teach him a bit of smo maths.. since he says he's interested and he wants to learn but unable to..
being a nice guy... i agreed to help him.. (now now.. whose's the mugger? him or me.. i dont even have a mind to come here and learn much... and did i mention that he finished all science practice paper at the airport?)

back from lunch... seal carving.. dammit... the teacher help me write the word... then i went to carve.. (i dont understand why i always spelt 'carve' as 'crave' i dont crave for seals..)... went to carve with zuisiang since he's lonely.. quite long after.. after many cock-ups and mr yong saying that i have no skills... i finished... and its screwed... very... zuisiang's is very nice... he said he carve slowly, carefully and stuffs like that... what he said.. i followed.. it just worsened mine... i am seriously nuts with handwork.. be it tying or carving...
so yeahh.... i tried my best to solve the problem by digging deeper.. cos.. logically speaking.. going deeper would result in the 'bumpiness' inside not affecting the original thing... and so... mines damn deep.. if i have a chance i will show it to you someday... seriously i have no skills

i went to the front... behind zuisiang and one other guy... to show the teacher the work...

teacher look at zuisiang's... : "very good.' stamp it in the book
mdm ee sees: "wow, very nice... who carve one... very good"

teacher look at the guy infront of me: "not bad'. stamp it in book

teacher look at mine, never say anything.. stamp it in book..

i was happy that mine got into the book.. but was sad that he was speechless... i guess he was stunned..

but i was made happy when jian ming... the guy who suanned me for my work... didnt get into the book... its my turn to laugh at him...

then yeah.. after this... we went to look at other china students sing.. they are having music test... cool... and i heard that jian ming has found a girlfriend.. its on facebook everyone~ go and take a look....

then went around to check out their cca... be it dance, co or what.. all is damn zai...

went back to hotel... and they ordered Kara-OK for us...

to think that we are going to sing the next day =.=...

at first its quite packed... then people left the room... then... left with...

the tour guide.. driver... weijie, zheng qian, matthew, lucas, zuisiang, me...

a few went to the other room to sing english songs... jekkee went back to play my gameboy as usual.. people come and gone... apparently.. i cant sing... heard from ppl that i am good with rapping... are they kidding me? i only know how to read those words... (apparently they can't)... sometimes i get the tune but for god sake... i cant sing...

they tried tian mi mi... mdm ee can sing (of course)... the rest cant really sing... i know the tune but i just cant do it... the same goes to jj's song... so hey.. i am not bad eh...

then yeah... found out that zuisiang sings ok too.... matthew is good.. so is lucas and zheng qian.. i mean... i just suck..

so yeahh.. thats all i am going to say..

Ahh.... lemme continue... cant rmb some of the info ald... need check the programme booklet..

i think i forgot to talk about a performance at day 4...

its a damn boring one.. with cherhan beside me... cherhan fell asleep... ivan and matthew fell asleep too...

2nd day... 3hrs of maths... (i thought.. trigo.. or log... ) then... we have... more factorisations.. then later... the 2nd teacher (the one that teach us surds the previous day) came in... and bring us out...
she want us to measure the height of a flagpole..

i tot.. hmm... trigo? no.. similarity and congurency... after measuring it... we went back... teach a bit on congurency.. and she talk a whole lot of physics stuff.. .like put mirror or align sight with flagpole.. (are we going to participate in maths olympiad or physics olympiad?).. then have lunch... went back...

when we come back we have some drum.... i tot... should be quite easy... since i am 'considered quite good in dance' .. actually ITS NOT... u need to know the beats well.. and the steps... AND ITS MORE LIKE A RITUAL DANCE THAN ANYTHING ELSE.. so yeah... i cant really grab hold of it... and the most bloddy embarrasssing thing is when we are dancing.. my ribbon came loose and it dropped.. oh my gravy... its like.. shit... seriously.. i am nuts in tying.. i cant tie a string in physics spa and bio spa... and i cant tie a good knot.. and i seriously suck... after this whole damn long drab dance... we have pe lesson... we just sit there and look at some ppl play with the china students soccer... cher han accepts bet... i sayz 3-1 to their favour... 1 RMB.. and i lost... zuisiang help me get my money back~ he says 4-0.. wow... zai... zuisiang is really a nice guy.. i owe him one (RMB).. i will pay him back someday i hope..

then went for seal carving... you dont want to get me started... its bloddy boring... and i carve SHIT... really shit.. i am not really good with handwork i would say...

went back to hotel... if i am not wrong... thats the night with the dvd's... went down to look for some of them... went back with nothing to buy... and if i dont remember wrongly... thats the time when we played cheat..
i would say my finishing move is damn lethal... with 17 cards on my hand...

when their card comes back at 7... i was like whee....

lemme continue... day 4 (Monday)

now some of the memories are fading away...

going to ran turu the school stuffs fast...

reach school... look at a vid of their performance..

then TAKE A BUS TO THE OTHER SIDE OF THE SCHOOL... oh my gravy... then go there look at their school compound.. their structures... then walk around that section.. look at their canteen.. the girls dorm.. (hehe.. we went in too~)... then WE TAKE THAT BUS BACK TO THE ORIGINAL LOCATION to have lessons... bloddy big... then lesson 1... factorisation... for the first 10 min... me cherhan jian ming was like... aiya no kicks... [eg; am + an = a(m + n) ].. and other types of factorisation... then after that.. *pow* one damn hard maths come out..

and another..

so chim one lor...

then yea... it goes like this.. then while they are having some shu fa lesson which doesnt seem fun by looking at the pictures..
went for lunch... came back for surds... bloddy chim... then u know... while going out after the maths.. i was like wtf... weare going to have fun tmr.. 3 hours of trigo.. (factorisation, surds.. the next thing you will think of is about trigo already..)

then went for some chinese lesson... they are having some chinese poems lesson.. then they need to present... one section is they need to act out.. chs students are to give them score... apparently we all give them 3 3 3 3.. highest is 3 of course... then they need to sing... mdm ee gives a 3.5 for some strange reason... but seriously... what can that 0.5 do.. its just a tie breaker... and 27< 26 and 27<26.5.. it doesnt make any difference...

then yeah... it goes something like this... at night went to jianming's room to play cards again..... went for so many days~ it sure is fun...

lemme continue... day 3, sunday..

go visit wu ze tian tomb.. quite big...

then we went fa men si...

then theres one damn long stretch road for us to walk...

ard 2 km i think...

then me zui siang lucas jian ming and a few more walk in gang...

walk then go inside... look at the stuffs.. and bla bla bla... then free time.. bought a ice-cream... my first ice-cream there~

took a pic of ee ah hong waving...

then we joined her to take a pic.. which i didnt take using my cam...

then walk back with zuisiang jian ming and lucas... when we are walking so happily when zuisiang suggested to run.. of course.. we ignored him and continue walking... but we began to walk faster when we realise that we are late... then we reach only a little late... lucky...

then we went back to hotel... assigned a new room... 513 now... then went to lucas' room to 'do work' in the end play animal chess with jian ming.. got pwned... then left cos they say they want to nic. nova.'s room to watch movie... then a while later.. they called me to go to jian ming's room... cos zuisiang went late and was not allowed to go in... then he went around looking for my room... poor boy.. then jian ming got scared by the movie (according to others its not that scary).. so jian ming and lucas went out and finally they reached my room by calling a friend's room to know dexter's room to get my room... nice one... then i went there to play.... did a bit of work with zuisiang... and went back.. jianming says he want to copy my work... ee cheater...

01/06: Xi An Trip

Now...

allow me to talk about the trip day by day... slowly..

first day... went to airport... getting down from car saw ee ah hong... walk in with her...

saw jekkee and yunda...

then bla bla... went in...

sit with jian ming jekkee and a few more ppl... jian ming deleted the pic with his pe pants on his head and he deleted the bluetooth msg also... aww sad....

went into the plane... with wei nan on my right and a path on my left... and zuo heng was on the left...

after a major switch place... i changed to the back... and switched back to the same place again... now with cherhan on my left and still wei nan on my right...

after a whole long period of mugging and other stuffs on the plane... wei nan asked me to play daidi.. play play play... play for like a while then dont play le...

then get off the plane... in shanghai... we heard that we're in a rush... so we chiong... then not yet... so we just stay there... ppl formed groups... this gang play daidi.. that gang also... those ppl plays blackjack..

then me and zuisiang like some ostracised people... do homework... on the plane he finished quite alot of physics and chem... i did a bit of chem on the plane... then we finished one chem together... help him to do another... then tried to help him for physics which i failed... jekkee came to help and he knows quite alot... feels damn sad... i seemed like the inferior party... then me and zuisiang change spots like a few times cos its damn cold...

then we went to claim dinner... milk tea (might contain melamine) and a pack of rice... which is like crap... theres like beans inside.. oh did i mention that we only have chopsticks... i ate 3/4 and i gave up... dont think zuisiang even ate 1/4... damn hard... the rest of the food is quite ok.... then we continue mugging... a while later.. can go claim drink... i am one of the first and get 1 more milk tea.. but i dont feel like drinking.. zuisiang also dun wan so he just put on one occupied chair and run away... bad boy... then we went to claim 200 RMB..a while later... after much complaints.. its around 11 mn... i think we have been waiting for 6-7hrs.. they finally called for a bus to change airport... after like 45min... they finally like pay another 200 RMB and another 15min later... it starts moving.... i rmb on the bus all of us was like....

"is this bringing us to xian?" "this will fly up, airbus"
"is it just me or is not moving"
"a snail can crawl faster than that"
"this is china"

ahaha..

so.. from the time we got onto the bus to the time we alight.. its around 2hrs...

then i realised that i lost my boarding pass... must've been dropped when i was sleeping..

good that dexter is around to solve my case.... we got onto the plane... fly off to xian... i was sleeping for the whole 2hrs... but since i fell asleep.. they just put my food beside me (since both chairs beside me are empty)... i have no appetite when i woke up and after that... so i throw it 2 days later...

went down... settle the stuffs... got onto the bus.. and drive to airport...

i rmb... when i saw the tour guide on the first day... i was like... he's not really a good guide... well... after like 9 days... it changed... his voice is damn loud... eardrums piercing... reach hotel after an hour on bus... no appetite for breakfast despite the fact that i am hungry..

then went back to sleep.... jekkee and i was assigned room 835...

i rmb going in and criticise the hotel for quite some time... bed 1 big 1 small... bad room planning... toilet door cannot close... bad design... then on the top and at the bottom is transparent glass... means can see through... so can like peek over... but since jekkee is not like some cute guy or whatever.. whats the point... jkjk =p...

woke up... went to see hua qing chi... ate lunch before that.. managed to eat a little.. went to hua qing chi...bla bla bla... then went to see terracotta... the tour guide zao xia alot... and his lame jokes are.... lame... very lame... cos hes like... 0.1 second after the joke he tell us to move on... so i am like.... wtf... then understand a while later... of course... its not funny.... bla bla bla....

after that went back to look at the performance.. chang hen ge... the dance is damn boring.. fell asleep... theres a part where the effects are damn nice.... fire which we can feel the heat and stuffs like that... not bad la...

Things are getting better and better this few weeks

i am just plain lucky...

take eg my sit writing..

my format wrong

signing off wrong...

they decided not to penialse...

so end up i got 22...quite miraculous...

then somemore.. today overall english..

instead of the 50 25 25 i once thought..

they actually put it as 40 30 30...

with i pass that 60% so english did quite well... 59... whee...

geog also...

mid year only 40%..

project is 30% and my group got top~ so i end up with a B3, 69... so my combined humans become a 72~ PSC rocks...

my journal reflection also did quite well..
its spilt into 4 sections..

DCEP something like that..

DCE is content based..

P is reflection...

i got 8/15 and 5/5... i wonder what does that show... maybe i am quite ok with writing my point of view... somehow i believe i could do quite well for my geog...

Things are not getting better...

after screwing up my script check..

watching tv shows.. and the things really dont go the way i want them to..

first... amazing race.. the brothers really piss people off..

they cut jet and cord's queue...

and they plan several 'plot' to win.. not really cheat but no one expected them to win.. at all..

what i have planned is either the models or the cowboys...

The days are getting worse and worse..

19 for ss... expected a much higher score since my essay only got 8/12... it always happens to me..

then went for geog...

and it goes like this...

wei liang suanned me... chee kiang suanned me.. me and wen zuo get same score..

then went in....

chee kiang is in front of me.. beside me is yann yih..

then i saw him got 15/25... i thought.. hope wont be that bad...

chee kiang received...he got 13/25.. i freaked out... most probably i will screw up.. but since he did well for his ss.. he should be ok... then i received... 14/25... wtf... owz and wei liang got 20+.. wtf..

so...

wei liang ace both of his combined humans..

cheekiang ace one and screw another..

wen zuo ace one and did okay for another..

both of mine is screwed..

but my 76% ss pull me up.. so i am not that bad...

geog 56% ss 76%.. so i got ard 66%.. my class test didnt do so well also.. so i think most likely.. i am screwed...

china scholar who did not take more than a term.. got 67... i was like.. if lose to him i damn lose face..
then eugene got 72.. i was like praying... hope i can do well...

then i received mine... 60... screwed.. then to add on to my pain... Saras still put a smiley face at my '0'.. making ppl suan me more.... then everyone around me was like... 70+,.. i suddenly tot i am the lowest..

then cheekiang came over and told me he got 57.. i was like... "ok, we are both screwed"..

then check final score..

i got 64.. he got 62.. lowest 60.. so we're quite close eh?

so hopefully next time we dont screw up.. seriously, taking the last for history and risk getting last for combined humans and english is damn traumatising.. if i got another last.. i will just like die...
anw i think most probably my class position is ranged from 34-36 out of 36 ppl.. this term i am screwed...

my geog drop by more than 30 marks.. history drop by 20+ marks also... bio and physics also drop 10+ marks...

my increase i dont think its even 10 marks...

so in conclusion... i am screwed..

then when going back to class.. i went to check my score...

then i saw jia liang like..

but still i got 73 like that for overall.. quite good i suppose.... of course not as good as compared to others..

this term i am screwed...

i lost almost all my strengths..

maths is like almost everyone can do... the score is quite typical around..

so now i am like a warrior holding a not-as-sharp-as-before sword... my shield is also broken... i can't go into the battlefield and be able to survive..

i am no longer considered as a threat, to anyone..so yea... sad for me..

monday i am going to not lose in shame... just try my best... i know theres alot of sports class ppl there.. it seems like a challenge.. but come on.. i will win..

this few days is really sad for me..

firstly..

ytd..
english fail and lose to china scholars.. and to think that the paper is no kicks... i was wrong... 7/27 for compre..
summary didnt do well enough to make me pass...

so end up with 23.5..

chinese essays are also sad.. however the paper indded make me feel a little more happy.. 51.. since normally eoy i got low 40's..

emaths 93.. aiming for 90 so quite ok..

amaths 77. aiming for full marks so its considered substandard... but i should feel contented..

then today...

tragedy struck one after another...

physics got 72... but hey.. i am the 2nd in level last year (this sounds cliche but...).. how can i drop 50 positions? and i got like 3 marks deducted for readings of

09/05: The 2 TAR analysis that i made~

Did a couple of TAR analysis over the few days. ones my prediction.. anothers my point towards the cowboys..

hope they win tmr~

the first one

Time to analyse who would be the first to cross the finishing line after 12 legs!

First, lets see the top 3 teams:

Team 1, Brent and Catie, dating models. This team is a 'not significant' team so me.. they seemed insignificant to me. But to my surprise, they managed to come to this stage. Looking back at the past episodes, I seriously think that they have some standard. Being forced to leave last in one of the legs due to dehydration, they still managed to survive the race and gets back to the top few after several legs. Their most significant leg would be the 11th leg. They finally checked into the pitstop first after 11 legs. Now they have an advantage over other teams in the final leg.

Team 2, Jet and Cord, cowboys and brothers. This team is one of the strongest team and my supported team. They are cunning, scheming and independent. At the first leg of the race, there was a time where they are at 11th position, which is the last. But when they cleared the roadblock and additional task, they checked in 3rd. They too, top Leg 2, Leg 3, Leg 8 and Leg 10. Which sums up to winning 4 out of the 11 legs. They are one of the most united pair I seen in the race. They never quarrel and they make decisions that are the best for them.

Team 3, Dan and Jordan, brothers. This team is a slow team at the first, but the managed to come into the top 3. I suppose the main reason is that Fast-Foward at Leg 9 (Singapore). They managed to complete the Fast-Foward and check into the pit-stop 1st. Other than that leg, they did not win any more legs. Out of the 3 teams, this team is the most hot-headed and they are very desperate to win. They scold one another for minor mistakes and stuffs like that.

Now, the 12th leg of the race is at San Fransico. This is going to be a tough race. Scaling heights and other obstacles. Of course the teams are not going to let the problems falter them. Now these are what I personally think will happen.

Firstly, at the preview, we can see that they have a high-tech station where they are put into a vitural world or so. The cowboys will encounter difficulties there. Since they are like those non-modern people. Also, they also faced problems like climbing towers. Dan and Jordan will encounter some problem there because one of them is afraid of heights (shown in Singapore Flyer).

According to my analysis, Brent and Catie, should not have a lot of problems clearing the stations. They, too have the lead at their advantage. The Cowboys are also a strong team and there might be a chance that they might catch up and overtake them. Brothers if they work close enough, they should be able to get pass the other groups too.

These are something I realise throughout the race.

Catie seems to do more work then Brent and its like Catie is above Brent. Sometimes their judgement are not good as they once chose to U-turn Carol and Brandy instead of strong teams that won legs after legs such as the Cowboys or the Cops, if either of them are off, they will have a easier time to win this race.

Jet and Cord doesn't seem to form any alliance with anyone, they will try and make their opponents lose out to them, like in Leg 2, they tricked the other groups to miss the bus and that is some complex trickery. But they are very united i can say, they try to make the race a fun and enjoyable experience. But sometimes they are careless by making 2 mistakes at Leg 7, which caused them to check in last into the pit-stop.(fortunately that leg is a non-elimination)

Dan and Jordan is very hot-headed. They scold and blame each other for the mistakes they make they might lead them to elimination. They also scold people who failed to listen to their orders. I guess they are really giving their all to win the race.

So, I think the results would be.

The team checking in after 12 legs,

the team winning the million,

is

Brent and Catie. (I hate to say it but its highly possible)

Second in place would be Jet and Cord.

The team that will check in as team number 3 is Dan and Jordan.

In conclusion, I just want to point out that the models had a high chance of winning, but since all 3 teams able to make it to the top 3, they are all considered strong. But since none of us could predict the future, we do not know what will happen. The direct telecast in Singapore from USA is 8am, encore telecast would be 12am on the next day. Another encore telecast would be at Saturday, 4pm. Remember to catch the finale of The Amazing Race Season 16!

this is the one about the cowboys

Jet and Cord, cowboys from a small town. Had big aspirations of winning the amazing race. At first, they start humbly and gradually become a dark horse in the race.

People considered them as the most united team, they don't quarrel with one another, neither do they quarrel with other people. True enough, they respect one another's decision, they won't make a big mistake. They won't flare up when people don't understand them. They just... never give up. Amazing team, I would say.

Let us see their performance leg by leg and predicts their performance at the finale.

At the first leg, they do it slowly. Arriving for the second flight. But it ends up that everyone takes the same flight. However, they are unable to get a cab as soon as possible and they eventually LAST for the roadblock and there is only like 3 teams doing the roadblock. However, they managed to clear the roadblock, do the additional route task and end up coming 3rd. Amazing team I would say.

Second leg, they are the witty teams. Since they are unable to get the first direct bus to the location. They, together with other teams, take another bus that reaches the location faster but theres a switch of bus in bewteen. They together take the bus there. When they are about to switch bus, the nasty thing happens. They are the first team to realise that they will miss their 6.30 bus as theres no enough time. So they trick other teams to rush to the other station to catch their bus.. and they board the bus at 7, while the other teams are unable to come back in time to board the 7 bus when they missed the 6.30 one. Then they clear other obstacles smoothly and eventually came in first.

At the third leg, they managed to use their advantage as the first group to depart to take the lead. However they are a little slow at the poker as they lost twice, while other teams clear it in the first try. They cover up the loss by the roadblock and detour as its sort of 'cowboy' related. They, once again emerged first.

Fourth leg, sadly to say that even though they reach the intersection first, clear it together with the cops and being first, they made a blunder by taking a train to the detour while a taxi could be taken, which they were then slow down. They eventually came in 4th while the cops came in 1st.

At the fifth leg, they remained in that position just that Joe and Heidi were taken off due to U-Turn, it would be dire if the cowboys were U-turned. So they came in 3rd.

Sixth leg, they made two big blunders, they went to the wrong town twice.. not once, but twice. While some of other teams only did that for once. Since the cops and the les didn't screw up there, they took the first and second. But the cowboys still did very well at the detour, they reach the detour at 6th but they still managed to hit 4th position.

At the seventh leg, they cowboys made three big blunders!!! First, they took the back seats of the plane, making them unable to get the first three to the island. Then, they together with 2 more groups, left a coconut at the detour, so they have to backtrack and take it. Then, after doing the roadblock, they did not take the bottle to the pitstop. So, they arrived last at the pitstop, which is last. However it a non-elimination. Lucky cowboys.

Eighth leg, this is a major turning point for them. They got a cab last, but they managed to clear the detour, speedbump and roadblock before the second team arrives at the roadblock. So, they checked in first! This is their third win.

The 9th leg at Singapore, they ought to be lucky, Brent and Caite U-Turned the lesbians and they got eliminated. If the cowboys got U-turned (which everyone will do that if they got there first), they would lose. They checked in 3rd with the FastFoward brothers take the lead while the models hit second.

At the 10th leg, at Shanghai, they managed to have a 'hand at noodle making' and take the lead at the first roadblock. Then, they are a little slowed down at the second roadblock, the models could overtake them but the wind just screwed both their puzzle. Making them have to redo part of their puzzle. Cord manage to finish before Brent and check in into the pitstop as the first team.

Leg 11, still at Shanghai. Teams are quite unable to find garden bridge (which is known as waibaiduqiao). So models took the lead. But models keep getting the counting wrong. While the cowboys did it in the first try. Making them leave the roadblock together. Though cowboys reach the detour first, the models managed to find the 2 chops before them. Models managed to reach the pitstop before the cowboys, and so they checked in second.

At the final leg, the cowboys have a high chance to win the million. I figure that their main competitor would be the models if there isn't a shared flight to San Franciso, since the brothers are so much behind them.

So good luck to the cowboys, the finale is at 8 am tmr morning and I cant watch it, but i seriously pray that the cowboys will win. But I guess the participated in the race is not for winning the million. Its the adventure of a lifetime with one another.

Nevertheless good luck to the cowboys. They just have to do their best and no blunders, they will be able to win.

Cowboys, the whole world is rooting for you. All the best!!

2. Ruby Gloom (RG) is a popular show with 2 seasons around 40 episodes. It features too many characters. First time watching this show who skipped the first episode especially will have a hard time. Cos the characters will cause an infomation overload. i have a little trouble initially... thats one reason y i hated RG at first.. but when u get to know the character better.. it will be much better... before and after the show there will be a small clip... of around 30sec to 1min..... some of them is more of comedy.. and some of them introduces the character or bring in the flavor/character/style of the character. However.. if u are damn tired.. i dont think u will want to watch it cos it will give u headache..cos from time to time, they will gear on to other side that is somehow irrelevant. Overall Rating: 4/5

3. Arthur, of course is a 15min episode.. some of them have 30, but not alot. They features certain characters mainly, Arthur, D.W., Buster... Most of the stories revolove around them.. the good thing about this show is, not everytime the show revolves around the main character Arthur, sometimes its more on the others and not on Arthur... he may have only a small role from time to time... Interesting Show. Overall Rating: 4/5

5. Numberjacks, a show about kids maths stuffs... will teach children about maths... from simple numbers to shapes. it follows a certain structure: mostly.. introduction to topic. eg; if its on counting, they will show that the numberjacks are counting. then occur problem, somewhat similar to the problem they had previously. a numberjack is launched. Look at more problems. Draw a line bewteen these problems. Imagine what will happen if its not solved. Found the cause of the problem. Ask for help to solve it. Will bring them to the introduction see how it is solve. Use Brain Gain to solve it. Tadah. End the show with a question. Overally, the show can make u learn alot. Overall Rating: 3.5/5

6. Race-Tin, illustrates a story about 2 brothers. they come to this town... tried race cars. they love it. now.. people will start going into the lives. they will then play in the championship... teaching people true spirit of racing. overally story is quite interesting.. with those interesting stunts and the problems happening to them. opponents appearing in front of them are getting tougher and tougher... Overall Rating: 4.5/5

7. Grossology, abt gross stuffs. like bugs, rot or whatever... they incorprate certain science into it.... so it makes everything somewhat interesting. The villains are from time to time similar.. but theres some new ones. Overall Rating: 4.2/5

today get back chem... at first when i ask to be excused for a while... ms chong said... i got 35... then i tot... wow thats not bad... hopefully its around top 10.. then i was like.. wah so happy.. then when i went back to class... she said i got top.. i was like... wow.. i so zai... then finally she said i was 2nd... i was like... oh... not bad... ahahha.. but 2nd still not bad la... at least won the mugger... hohoho... this shows that TDG is not bad eh... and i finally hit my target... ahahha...targetted: 35 and above... hit... 35...

hi ya.... today school is.... ok...

physics will cause a total brain clog...

ss... free period... talking abt pokemon with chee kiang and wen zuo.. for 1 period... wahahah...

then went for recess... intending to go sl.. but close.. so ck and i went to canteen... of course... do my daily routine of kpkp wei liang...

wahhaha...
went back to class... slack there... and went for the cny celebration..

the cny celebration is er... damn epic.. but still quite ok...

the lion dance and singing is not good...

so in conclusion..
they had done their best..

Now... i am going to hold TDC 2009 Nov/Dec Cartoon Competition~

This is actually... after a whole holiday of boredom... watching different cartoon shows... and finally compiling this... we will have a few segments...

1. Best Shows

3. Best Female Characters
4. Others
5. Best Villians
6. Best songs

this are the rules...

only award 1 will have 8 shortlisted shows...

the rest will have 10.....

there will be 2 rounds of elimination...

for 1, 8 -> 6 -> 4

for the rest, 10 -> 7 -> 5

then... the best or maybe top 3 may be chosen,...

we'll see which cartoon and which cartoon character can win my heart..
